Support Our Kitchen Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Hand. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our talented chef in preparing healthy, delicious meals.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess strong communication skills. They will also be able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment.

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children through nutritious food. You will also be required to lift 15kgs and be able to work with heavy equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum qualification of a Food Handling Certificate and Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Strong understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Impeccable personal presentation
