Job Title: Health Information Services Administrator

A key role within our organization, the Health Information Services (HIS) Administrator is responsible for managing medical records and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of patient information.

About The Role

This position operates in a fast-paced environment where high accuracy, meticulous attention to detail and exceptional time management are essential. As an HIS Administrator, you will be handling confidential patient data and providing general enquiries and support to internal and external stakeholders.

The HIS Department operates on a rotating roster across weekdays and weekends, including public holidays. A strong ability to use initiative and efficient problem-solving techniques is required.

Your Skills And Experience
  • Prior experience in healthcare or a related field is highly desirable but not essential
  • Sound computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a physically demanding environment

Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are crucial to this role, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.

  • National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
