Community Diversional Therapist

Our organization seeks an experienced professional to fill the position of a Diversional Therapist. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, this individual will play a key role in planning and delivering high-quality diversional therapy activities for clients within a community setting.
The Role- Develop and implement effective plans to ensure quality diversional therapy activities are delivered to specified client groups.
- Promote access and client involvement by participating in various community-based initiatives.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Apply knowledge and experience working with aged people and individuals living with dementia to provide high-quality care.
Our organization offers a range of health and community services to the island community, including nine aged care beds, five acute beds, an outpatient and emergency service, physiotherapy, x-ray, podiatry/footcare, and visiting services.
