Job Overview:

The Diversional Therapist plays a pivotal role in providing high-quality, tailored therapy activities to diverse client groups within community healthcare settings. This involves strategic planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs that cater to various patient needs.

  • Support the development, implementation, and assessment of diversional therapy programs for clients with different physical and mental health conditions.
  • Promote accessibility and client engagement through participation in relevant community-based initiatives.
Key Qualifications:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team is also crucial.

  • Proven experience working with elderly individuals and those living with dementia.
Work Arrangements:

This is a permanent, part-time position requiring 16 hours of work per fortnight. The commencement date will be mutually agreed upon.

Benefits Package:

Employees receive a competitive salary range ($67,193 to $70,993 per annum, pro rata) and an employer contribution of 11.5% superannuation. Additionally, employees have access to salary packaging benefits, including meal entertainment expenses and more.
