We are seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise while providing tax and accounting advice and solutions to small to medium sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries and small listed entities.

  • You will work across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle-market clients.
  • Your key responsibilities will include regular client contact, attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders, and developing into a strategic advisor to provide proactive advice and guidance to clients beyond annual compliance.
  • You will also have the opportunity to mentor and assist other less experienced team members in their professional development.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to establish and develop effective professional relationships.

  • A strong passion for communication is essential to share ideas, inspire and create change.
  • You will need to be able to digest, distil and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal forms.
  • An organised and efficient approach, with high attention to detail, is required to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • A proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines is crucial.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPA/CA qualification or be close to completion.
