About the Role

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer to lead the operational excellence of the business. This is a unique opportunity to join the executive leadership team, directly influencing the strategic growth of the company while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes across all departments.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and maintain full organizational compliance.
  • Mentor and empower staff, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.
  • Set clear goals and metrics, and evaluate team performance regularly.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to shape and execute strategic business initiatives.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, providing insights to drive innovation and decision-making.
  • Support the business development team by leveraging your expertise to pitch the company's offerings to potential investors and borrowers.
  • Champion a corporate social responsibility program by partnering with a charity or social enterprise of your choice.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in finance, private credit, property development, real estate, or banking.
  • Proven operational leadership experience at a senior level.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Be a strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to convert vision into action.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in business development and presenting to investors or commercial borrowers.
