Our Business and Tax Advisory team provides counsel to clients managing their compliance needs while planning for continued business growth. Your Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Senior Advisors/Assistant Managers to join our Business & Tax Advisory team in Townsville. As a key member of our team, you will provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium-sized entities, family-owned businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries and small listed entities.

You will work closely with clients to develop technical expertise across various services, including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle-market clients. Your role will involve playing a key part in client engagements, including regular client contact, attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.

As a strategic advisor, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide proactive advice, working alongside them to drive success. You will also have the opportunity to develop into a mentor, assisting less-experienced team members and encouraging their professional development.

You possess excellent communication skills, able to digest, distil and communicate complex concepts in written and verbal forms. You are proactive, organised and efficient, with a high attention to detail, ensuring impactful outcomes are delivered. Your ability to work in the details, coupled with your enthusiasm for accuracy and deadlines, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

  • Experience in tax, accounting or business services in a similar environment

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
