Job Title: Senior DevOps Lead

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Lead to lead our DevOps transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and advancing DevOps capabilities across the organization, driving automation, operational excellence, and platform efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Delivery Pipelines: Prioritize delivery pipelines aligned with strategic goals, ensuring resource efficiency and execution excellence.
  • Champion Agile and DevOps Practices: Foster a culture of accountability, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Automation-First Principles: Streamline processes, improve quality, and reduce manual effort by standardising automation-first principles.
  • Mentor and Develop Team Capability: Promote a learning culture and innovation by mentoring and developing team capability.
  • Enhance Platform Monitoring: Proactively resolve issues and lead incident management by enhancing platform monitoring.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years scripting experience with Python, Shell, JavaScript, Terraform, Ansible, and REST API integrations.
  • 5+ years DevOps and CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong AWS experience: EC2, S3, VPC, networking, EKS (Kubernetes), and OpenShift.
  • Skilled in cloud automation, scaling, monitoring, and networking concepts.
  • Proficient in Git version control and security/monitoring tools like Snyk and Dynatrace.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, deployment automation, and CI/CD testing.
