About the Role

Airwallex is seeking an experienced Corporate Affairs Director to join our team in the Americas region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in public affairs, media relations, and internal and external communications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing a wide-ranging stakeholder communications and engagement strategy for Airwallex's Americas business, focusing particularly on media and industry influencers.

Key responsibilities include devising and implementing a holistic engagement program, providing access to senior media contacts to strengthen Airwallex's reputation, and contributing to the Corporate Affairs team to update Airwallex's messaging playbook.

The Corporate Affairs Director will also represent Airwallex as a key spokesperson and manage all press office duties for the Americas region, as well as proactively initiating campaigns to position Airwallex as a thought leader in tech and business.

Requirements include solid domain knowledge in public affairs and policy development, media relations, internal and external communications, and direct experience working with journalists, producers, and editors.

The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in agency and in-house roles, with a blend of public affairs, issues management, media relations, and thought leadership expertise.
