Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Consultant to join our Health and Safety Consulting practice in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing health and safety advice and consulting services to medium to enterprise-sized clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide WHS advice, including compliance and legislative updates, to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and associated reporting.
- Develop and deliver WHS training programs.
- Develop and review WHS management systems and documents.
- Undertake WHS site and system audits and other WHS support services as required.
- Deliver high-quality, timely reports and advice to clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of WHS IT systems for clients.
- Tertiary degree in Work Health and Safety, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), or a relevant field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in WHS advisory or a related role.
- Sound working knowledge of WHS and Safety legislation.
- Sound understanding of risk management principles and the ability to apply them in WHS hazard management.
- Skills in Safety Management Systems and WHS Management Systems Development.
- Experience in incident reporting and investigation.
- WHS Auditing.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 45001.
