This is a senior-level assignment for a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineering Specialist. The consultant will be a key member of the client's cybersecurity team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions to protect critical infrastructure and data assets. This engagement requires deep expertise in Fortinet Network Detection and Response (NDR), Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and enterprise networking, with a strong background in the telecommunications sector.
Key Deliverables
- Lead the design, deployment, configuration, and management of Fortinet NDR solutions.
- Administer and optimize Cisco ISE for network access control and policy enforcement.
- Design and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation strategies.
- Conduct threat analysis, incident response, and forensic investigations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security staff.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Proven expertise with Fortinet NDR and Cisco ISE in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing/switching, and telecom infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP Security, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
