Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing expert rehabilitation services to patients with complex physical and cognitive impairments. This will involve conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to optimize patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality clinical services to patients with diverse rehabilitation needs;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans;
  • Conducting regular reviews and updates of patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes;
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in rehabilitation medicine;

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in Rehabilitation Medicine or a related field;
  • Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the relevant Australian health authority;
  • At least 2 years' experience in rehabilitation medicine, preferably in a public healthcare setting;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
