About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Home Operations Specialist to provide interim leadership and support to our care homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with aged care standards, and maintaining high-quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvements and boost morale.
  • Ensure assessments, care planning, and case conferencing are conducted throughout the home.
  • Develop and maintain a culture where residents can make informed decisions about their care.
  • Monitor and address high-risk residents or those with complex needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • The ability to build rapport and maintain solid working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • A high level of understanding of the aged care sector and its trends.
  • Lateral problem-solving skills and the ability to convert complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Project coordination skills and experience in implementing projects.
  • Operational knowledge of computerised systems used within the industry.
