Multipurpose Operations Specialist

We are seeking a versatile and skilled officer to join our team in Colac, Victoria. As a Multipurpose Officer/Plant Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on council-owned land, with a focus on safety, quality, and meeting corporate values.
The role is based at the Colac depot and involves working outdoors in manual labor environments. You will be required to operate plant machinery, carry out road construction and maintenance works, and demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Proven experience in manual outdoor work activities
- Experience in road construction/maintenance works
- Basic written communication skills
- OH&S Construction Induction Card/White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current manual driver's license
This permanent full-time position offers a salary of $64,129.10 to $67,823.63 per annum, including an industry allowance plus superannuation. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
