About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team at Ingenia Communities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our coastal community, including repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep of facilities and grounds.

Responsibilities

  • Administer all repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities, including fixing toilets and unhinged doors
  • Ensure the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
  • Garden labor such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
  • Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables, and gardening equipment
  • Stripping of beds and removal of all linen from villas, as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of villa windows, decking, pathways, etc.
  • Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins and garden restoration

About You

  • Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position
  • Driver's License
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
