About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team at Ingenia Communities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the site is well-maintained and presented at a high standard.

Your primary duties will include administering repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery, as well as regularly checking and attending to general repairs to accommodation and amenities. You will also be responsible for ensuring the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables, and gardening equipment.

Additionally, you will be required to perform garden labour tasks such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing, as well as stripping of beds and removal of all linen from villas. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining exterior of villa windows, decking, pathways, and other areas as required.

We are looking for a highly motivated and capable individual who is able to work with limited supervision and provide a high level of customer service. If you have previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position, and possess a driver's licence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all repairs and or maintenance to tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities
  • Ensure the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
  • Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
  • Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables, and gardening equipment
  • Stripping of beds & removal of all linen from Villas as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of Villa windows, decking, pathways etc.

About You:

  • Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position
  • Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
