Financial Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial support department, you will play a critical role in providing financial assistance to the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating and sending invoices using Xero financial accounting systems
  • Collecting overdue accounts by contacting clients and managing AR enquiries
  • Setting up, configuring, and managing client and invoicing portals
  • Managing budget resolutions in Synergy and assisting with any Synergy-related inquiries
  • Preparing daily cash flow reports and bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end processing, including preparation of monthly financial and non-financial reports
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls nationally
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • Working towards a professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA
  • Advanced computer software skills (Microsoft Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Teams) and other financial software (XERO and Total Synergy)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong personal integrity, credibility, and ability to work collaboratively in a values-driven organisation
