Cafe Attendant Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, staff, and visitors who visit the cafe. Greet customers, take orders, and handle transactions with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, as well as simple snacks or light meals available in the cafe.
  • Menu Management: Assist in creating and updating the cafe menu, considering residents' dietary requirements, preferences, and popular choices.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and other cafe supplies, and reorder items as necessary.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment. Ensure that the cafe meets health and safety standards.
