Locomotive Maintenance Specialist

The role of Locomotive Maintenance Specialist is a crucial position in the Vehicle Maintenance Facility, responsible for overseeing and maintaining locomotive assets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain, service, diagnose, and repair locomotives in accordance with approved maintenance plans.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive recording of maintenance and defect/repair information are kept up to date in accordance with legislative requirements and company instructions.
  • Comply with health & safety and local safety policy requirements, as well as other safety and technical standards.
Requirements
  • A qualified professional or an individual with equivalent experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Familiarity with rolling stock would be advantageous.
  • A relevant Engineering qualification at Level 3.
