The role of a Social Worker is to provide specialised support at the individual, group, school, and area level. This includes working with a diverse group of people who share a common goal.

  • Communication: Highly developed communication, networking, and interpersonal skills are essential for liaison with education community members and beyond.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and autonomously when required.

Required qualifications and experience include:

  • A graduate or post-graduate degree in social work or equivalent and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Additional requirements include possession of a current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.
