Procurement Governance Specialist Role

Western Australia's water future is being shaped by your efforts as a Procurement Governance Specialist. Your work ensures effective development and implementation of procurement governance for Water Corporation's Supply Chain.

Assurance activities across the supply chain guarantee our policies and standards are in place to minimize risks.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing critical supply chain risks in Modern Slavery and Security of Critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute supply chain governance programs to evaluate compliance and performance of procurement policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Conduct audits, reviews, and assessments to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage annual modern slavery surveys of suppliers and statements.
  • Implement supplier management frameworks and segmentation.
  • Develop supply chain policies and standards aligning with sustainable procurement practices.
  • Deliver training programs on modern slavery, SoCI, and supply chain governance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Substantial experience in Governance and compliance.
  • Considerable experience in Source to Contract and contract management.
  • Experience in auditing compliance to policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Procedure and standard writing skills.
