About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to drive strategy and efficiency across our operations in South Queensland. As the Head of Operations - South, you will provide visionary leadership and operational oversight for our southern Queensland venues, working in close partnership with the Head of Operations - North and reporting directly to the General Manager for Client Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence, embedding cross-functional collaboration, and inspiring your teams.
  • Ensure all southern venues are fully resourced, compliant, and positioned for continuous improvement in outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Operations - North and the General Manager for Client Services to align regional strategies and operational goals.
  • Monitor, analyse, and respond to operational performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management to maintain operational efficiency across all southern Queensland venues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, quality assurance, and risk management practices to uphold organisational standards and client safety.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funding bodies, government agencies, and community partners.

Requirements:

  • Relevant undergraduate qualification in Business, Social/Behavioural Sciences, and/or Law.
  • Proven experience leading and managing diverse teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data to drive informed decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance, risk management, and funding requirements within the community services or not-for-profit sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
