Lead Food Services Coordinator

This is a challenging yet rewarding position within a hospital that enables you to be part of something bigger.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual with proven leadership skills to oversee the Food Services Department reporting directly to the Hospitality Manager.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing teams, allocating resources effectively, ordering and procurement, ensuring food safety, quality and functional supervision. Additionally, they must be able to provide leadership and direction to the team to align with the hospital's strategic goals, operational processes, and business direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff management and development

  • Providing leadership and direction to the team

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a kitchen, healthcare facility, or hotel environment
  • Leadership skills to develop staff and deliver exceptional service
  • Commitment to quality improvement and excellence
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with rostering, staffing, and staff supervision
  • Ability to handle enquiries and resolve complaints
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
