Job Title: Judgments Publication Manager
**Job Description**
The Judgments Publication Manager plays a critical role in the provision of access to the Courts' judgments to Judges, Court staff, practitioners, self-represented litigants and the community, through the provision of appropriate information systems and resources.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the production, anonymisation, publication and storage of judgments having regard to Part XIVB of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) and other legislative requirements.
- Developing policies and practices and driving change in the field of legal publishing.
- Liaising and negotiating with Judges on policies and procedures and the judgment template.
- Providing oversight of all judgments prior to publication to ensure compliance with publishing standards and other legislative requirements.
- Coordinating the publication of judgments on Courts' websites and distribution to AustLII and publishers.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in managing a small distributed national team.
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise with a wide range of audiences, including Judges and Court staff.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and an understanding of information systems and content management systems.
- Experience in managing the design and delivery of training programs.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, initiative and cooperative teamwork within a busy environment.
