About the Role

CatholicCare Tasmania's Early Learning and Care Programs are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Educator to join our team in Southern Tasmania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading a positive and enriching environment to support and engage school-aged children in our Outside School Hours Care and vacation care programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide a team to run an engaging program
  • Maintain effective communication with parents
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment for children
  • Develop and implement programs that meet the needs of children
  • Collaborate with other educators to achieve program goals
Requirements
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Proven experience working in a similar lead educator role
  • Current First Aid Certificate, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate
  • Working with Vulnerable People Registration
  • National Police Check
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
