We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator-researcher to join our team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Education. The successful applicant will have a strong track record of research and teaching in the field of Early Childhood Education, and will be able to contribute to the development of innovative methodologies and creative pedagogies for teaching Early Childhood Education in the Tasmanian context.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality undergraduate coursework teaching in blended, face-to-face, and online contexts.
- Develop and deliver innovative and high-quality learning materials for blended, online, and/or face-to-face learning.
- Contribute to the development of the School of Education's strategic objectives and operational responsibilities.
- Undertake quality research of national standing, secure external competitive and other funding, and publish research findings.
- Work with external partners and community groups to build the profile of Early Childhood Education in Tasmania.
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Strong record in, and continuing commitment to, research that has achieved national and preferably international recognition and made notable contributions to the field of Early Childhood Education.
- Experience and demonstrated achievement in university-level teaching and learning.
- Record of contributing effectively to building and maintaining effective and productive links locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, industry (where relevant) and wider community.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People registration (or to be obtained).

Salary and BenefitsAppointment to this role will be at Academic Level B, with a total remuneration package of up to $150,759 comprising base salary within the range of $110,992 to $128,854 plus 17% superannuation.
