Job Description">

As a trainer and assessor in civil construction programs, you will be responsible for the development, improvement, and delivery of civil construction units (for both Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs) to meet VET Quality and Higher Education Standards Frameworks.

You will provide engaging and effective instruction based on curriculum requirements, ensure high standards of teaching, record student attendance and progress accurately, monitor classroom learning outcomes, and provide feedback to support students' educational development.

Additionally, you will stay current with industry standards, maintain up-to-date qualifications, actively participate in professional development opportunities, adhere to the Code of Conduct, report incidents, manage OH&S matters, and contribute to meetings and other relevant activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Bachelor in the civil/construction field as a minimum qualification
  • 2 years experience in the civil construction industry
  • Understanding and supportive of students' diverse needs and learning paces
  • Experience working with international students in the delivery and assessment of vocational education and training
