This role is key to shaping the future of tennis volunteering by creating strategies that attract new volunteers and keep our existing community engaged and supported.

We're looking for an energetic and organised individual to help build, support, and grow our vibrant network of tennis volunteers across the region.

In this position, you'll play a pivotal part in:

  • Developing and delivering a volunteering strategy in partnership with stakeholders;
  • Recruiting and retaining volunteers through tailored plans;
  • Building capability and capacity through training and programs;
  • Fostering an inclusive environment that encourages long-term involvement from diverse backgrounds;
  • Collaborating widely with clubs, coaches, schools, and community stakeholders.

To succeed, you will:

  • Demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills;
  • Have experience working with volunteers or community groups, preferably in the sport sector;
  • Exhibit excellent communication and relationship-building abilities;
  • Show a passion for inclusion, community development, and grassroots sport;
  • Hold or be willing to obtain relevant certifications;
  • Be prepared to adapt to flexible work arrangements.
