Asphalt Laboratory Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Asphalt Laboratory team as an Asphalt Laboratory Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a small team of technicians to support Asphalt testing
  • Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment as required
  • Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
  • Proactively promote process improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a strong background in construction materials laboratory testing. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A commitment to safety and quality
  • Previous construction materials laboratory testing experience
  • Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting data
  • Good communication, time management and organisation skills
  • Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and promote a healthy team environment
