Laboratory Support Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our laboratory as a skilled and detail-oriented individual. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the effective management of all laboratory tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing a variety of tasks relevant to the laboratory, including specimen reception, registration, and data entry
  • Managing the storage and filing of slides and blocks, as well as slide printing
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment, including biohazard cabinets, centrifuges, and workbenches
  • Upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety policies and programs to maintain a safe working environment; and
  • Satisfying the needs of customers through the provision of reliable and efficient services
