**Conservation Professional Role Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Conservation Professional to contribute to the management, protection and conservation of Queensland's natural environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about conservation and has excellent communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the preservation of our state's unique biodiversity.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of land management practices and be able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. You will also have experience with pest control methods and techniques, including the identification and management of invasive species.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in regular monitoring and reporting of park infrastructure and facilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement effective solutions for conservation and management outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on best practice land management techniques to staff members.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 20kg and walk long distances.
  • High level of physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
