Your New Role

We're on the lookout for a driven individual to join our team at our Nerang yard. This role entails collaborating within a close-knit team, skilfully operating equipment, and meticulously handling materials to ensure the smooth and precise processing of scrap metal. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you will safely operate machinery in order to sort, grade, and purchase metals.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Load & unload trucks, skip bins and trailers.
• Operate equipment, including Forklift and other heavy machinery (where licensed)
• Ensure customers receive a high level of service.
• Grading and sorting materials.
• Maintaining site and associated activities to comply with environmental guidelines while demonstrating personal responsibility and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.
  
  

To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have

• Valid Forklift license and operational experience
• Prior excavator operation experience (desirable)
• Ability to work independently.
• A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.
