As our organisation anticipates the delivery of our exciting new Outlet and Events Venue '" The Homestead, we are currently seeking a passionate and hands-on casual **Food & Beverage** **Kitchen Steward** to support our dedicated Food and Beverage Team at the Homestead and within our Food & Beverage department.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Venue Manager, your duties will include operating a commercial dishwasher. Assistance with simple food prep will also be required. If you have a positive and friendly approach to your work, can follow directions and enjoy working within a friendly team.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated individual who holds commitment to meeting the needs of our valued customers. You will have experience working back of house within a commercial dishwasher and kitchen and be able to assist with simple food prep. Excellent time management and communication skills and ability to work in an efficient and practical manner is required. You will be someone that is committed to delivering high levels of customer service. You will have a sense of fun, be able to work autonomously. Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include:

- Previous experience in a Commercial Kitchen will be highly regarded.
- Position involves hand washing dishes, removing garbage, carrying, and storing stock items, clearing tables, interacting with guests, plus assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required.
- You must be a hardworking, friendly & cooperative person: a 'can-do' attitude is a key part of the job.
- Will require physical ability to lift and carry up to 10kg and perform awkward lifting.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
- Flexible and availability to work across weekends and school holidays.
