About the role

As a Senior Operations Manager at Coles Group, you will lead a team of Project Managers in making the lives of our store teams easier. Your key responsibility will be to oversee and deliver large-scale operational and technical projects that increase efficiency and implement forward-thinking ways of operating.

You will define, plan, and oversee the execution of projects and programs that deliver sustainable outcomes. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of strategies and set strategic priorities. Your role will also involve providing advice to steering committees and ensuring appropriate reporting, governance, and control functions are upheld.

About you and your skills

You will have extensive experience leading a diverse team of high-performing professionals. You will also have a successful track record of delivering large-scale projects, preferably in a retail and/or operations environment. An understanding of store operations, merchandise functions, and inventory would be highly beneficial. You will be able to interpret and use data to provide recommendations and create presentations.
