Signal Maintenance Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and repairs to ensure the optimal functioning of signalling systems.
They will identify and rectify mechanical faults, attend failures to diagnose and correct signalling malfunctions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular maintenance inspections
- Identifying and rectifying signalling defects
- Diagnosing and repairing signalling faults
In addition, they will provide technical support to other business groups to deliver their projects.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A Signal Electrician Assessed qualification and hold a Cert IV Electrical (Rail Signalling)
- Previous experience in rail signalling
- Competent in fault rectification, testing, commissioning & decommissioning of Signalling Systems
- Strong ability to interpret/read technical drawings
- Excellent Communication skills
- Time Management skills
- A White card
- A Class C Driver's licence essential (HR preferred)
- A current RIW card (preferable)
- Rail maintenance background and technical understanding
- Intermediate computer literacy skills
