Job Overview

As a Senior Finance Officer, you will collaborate with business unit managers to discuss strategic priorities, provide financial guidance, and ensure financial processes align with industry standards.

Your role will involve reviewing financial reports, preparing variance analyses, and maintaining accurate forecast data to support informed decision-making. Additionally, you will prepare briefing notes for senior leaders, develop detailed budget submissions, and coordinate the divisional financial statement package.

In overseeing the budget build process, you will ensure allocations are accurate and reflective of strategic priorities. Your expertise in SAP S4/HANA and Excel will be valuable in preparing reports and responding to complex queries from stakeholders. You will also guide Finance Officers on complex transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and act as an escalation point for challenging issues.

The role includes managing stocktake processes, maintaining asset portfolio integrity, and contributing to control self-assessments. Building strong relationships across the division, you will identify opportunities for training or process improvements to enhance understanding of financial systems and reporting requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will be a confident communicator, analytical thinker, and relationship builder who can balance the technical demands of finance with the collaborative needs of a diverse workplace.
