Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a key figure responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences during late-night hours. Their duties include organizing and confirming all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process all guest requests and relay messages efficiently.
  • Provide guests with information regarding property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
  • Follow up on any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day and resolve them promptly.
  • Run and review daily reports/logs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver them to the appropriate department.
  • Count bank at beginning and end of shift; secure bank to prevent loss.
  • Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change as needed.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.

  • Assist individuals with disabilities and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation and speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Answer telephones using proper etiquette and maintain a positive attitude.
