We are seeking well-rounded and motivated casual OSHC Educators to join our team at Worongary Service. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in creating fun and interactive play-based programs that foster relationships with children and families.

Our OSHC Services provide high-quality care to children across South East Queensland, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. We pride ourselves on being a supportive and inclusive environment where children feel valued and respected.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be reliable and punctual, and have the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. You will also need to be available to work varying shifts, including before school, after school, and vacation care.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children aged 4-12 years, have relevant childcare qualifications, and hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).   • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • - Relevant childcare qualifications, such as a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • - Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • - Ability to work varying shifts, including before school, after school, and vacation care

Benefits:

As an Educator with us, you can expect to receive ongoing support and training, opportunities for career advancement, and a competitive hourly rate of $24.00-$34.00 per hour. We also offer flexible scheduling, which includes morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday.

About the Role:

This is a casual part-time position, working approximately 3 days per week. The successful applicant will be required to work split shifts during term time, including before school care from 6:00am-8:50am and after school care from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Vacation care shifts may also be available.
