Vacation Student or Graduate Engineers and Geoscientists: A Career Opportunity

We are seeking talented professionals to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct field and office-based work related to geotechnical investigation, assessment, design, and construction monitoring at mine sites for waste management facilities, open pits, underground excavations, access roads, and building foundations.
- Perform geotechnical, engineering geology, and water resource assessments for various pipeline, transportation, community, and power projects.
- Assist with surface and groundwater assessments for environmental baseline studies, water supply projects, design of remediation works, design and construction of water management infrastructure, balance studies, hydrologic assessments, and engineering geology risk assessments.
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant undergraduate degree in Civil (Geotechnical/Hydrotechnical/General) or Geological Engineering, Geoscience, Geology, Geophysics or a related field.
- 0-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software is an asset.
- A second language is an asset.
- A postgraduate degree is an asset.
- Familiarity with topics such as Soil Mechanics, Dam Design, Rock Mechanics, Hydrogeology, Hydrotechnical (Water Resources) Engineering (Hydrology and Hydraulics), Geomorphology, Geophysics, Field Mapping, and Technical Writing is an asset.
