HR Advisor

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is a world-renowned resort located on the famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. The resort offers a relaxed lifestyle with convenient access to shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our resort based HR team. This generalist role has a significant focus on recruitment and training, and forms part of a team providing Human Resources support for a workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and select high-calibre candidates through end-to-end recruitment processes;
  • Assist the HR Manager with performance management and workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation;
  • Provide accurate and timely advice to staff on award interpretation, workplace laws and Resort policies and procedures;
  • Coordinate and deliver Resort Orientation programs on a regular basis;
  • Collaborate with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to develop and implement training plans, maintaining accurate records;
  • Manage the seasonal worker program, including pastoral care for workers;
  • Monitor and report on Apprentices and Interns;
  • Support other departmental projects as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business or a related field;
  • Proven experience in a HR advisor or similar role, demonstrating understanding of relevant awards and legislation;
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
