Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.

Role

We are currently seeking to appoint a Human Resources Advisor to join our resort based HR team. This is a generalist role with a large focus on recruitment and training, and forms part of a team of 4 providing Human Resources support for a workforce of up to 300.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-end recruitment, including periods of high volume recruitment;
  • Assist the HR Manager with performance management and workplace investigations;
  • Providing consistent and accurate advice to staff on award interpretation, workplace legislation and Resort policies and procedures;
  • Coordination and presentation of Resort Orientation on a regular basis;
  • Coordination of training with RTOs and maintaining training related records;
  • Assist with managing the seasonal worker program, including pastoral care for our workers;
  • Monitoring and reporting relating to all Apprentices and Interns;
  • Assisting as required with other department projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, tourism, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a HR advisor, Human Resources Consultant or similar role including the understanding of the HIGA Award.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point;
  • Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A confident and discreet manner in order to appropriately manage sensitive information
