As a skilled Nurse leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations in our Medical Day Unit. This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a newly built hospital environment.
Position Details:- 80 hours per fortnight
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing nursing staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management
- Ensuring optimal staffing levels for safe, high-quality patient care
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitoring patient outcomes, satisfaction scores, and safety and quality KPIs
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Previous management experience in a hospital setting
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in evidence-based nursing practices and patient safety
