Job Summary

A unique opportunity exists for a skilled physiotherapist to join our ICU Service as a Grade 2 Senior Physiotherapist. This role involves providing physiotherapy services to patients in the intensive care unit, with a focus on developing expertise in this area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload, coordinating staff and resources, and contributing to the development of individuals, teams, and the physiotherapy service as a whole.

  • Manage a caseload of patients in the intensive care unit, providing physiotherapy services and developing treatment plans.
  • Coordinate the work of other staff members, including physiotherapy students and junior physiotherapists.
  • Contribute to the development of individuals, teams, and the physiotherapy service through good leadership, teamwork, and communication.
Qualifications and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration to practice in the state of Victoria via the relevant professional board.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills in the provision of physiotherapy services in the relevant areas of physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage a caseload, including the coordination of other staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake quality initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise students and junior physiotherapists.
  • Demonstrated communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
