Job Title

This is a challenging role for an experienced Social Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of adults with alcohol and drug-related disorders. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to deliver clinical assessment, intervention, and treatment planning in community and inpatient settings.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialized clinical interventions for the treatment and management of alcohol and other drug disorders across community and inpatient settings.
  • They will provide clinical services including assessment, planning, and delivery within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of alcohol and other drug disorders and co-morbidities such as severe and enduring mental illness and the associated evidence-based interventions.

About You:

  • We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a high level of communication with members of the multidisciplinary team, consumers, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • A willingness to improve clinical experience through engagement in continuing professional development and training is essential.
  • The successful candidate should be able to articulate a social work perspective and the priorities for assessment and intervention in the context of the multidisciplinary team.
