Clinical Addiction SpecialistAbout the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Addiction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare organization, you will provide expert clinical guidance and support to individuals struggling with addiction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individuals at risk of substance abuse and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver group and individual counseling sessions to clients, focusing on behavioral change and relapse prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement recovery programs tailored to meet the unique needs of clients with substance dependencies.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, nursing) or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of providing assessment and treatment services to individuals with substance use disorders.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and protocols for treating addiction.
- Current BLS or First Aid certification.
