Role Overview

As an Industrial Portfolio Manager at Knight Frank, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of a portfolio of industrial and commercial assets based in Parramatta. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, building key relationships with tenants and clients, and working closely with contractors to guarantee smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will serve as the primary technical and maintenance contact, supporting Property Managers and clients in their needs.
  • Day-to-day building management includes operational and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide valuable recommendations to improve efficiency in maintenance and operational issues, enhancing overall performance.
  • Evaluate and maintain high-quality control of all contractors, upholding the highest standards in service delivery.
  • You will play a crucial role in driving the asset's sustainability performance, implementing strategies to minimize environmental impact.
  • Regular inspections of the entire building, including common areas and plant rooms, are essential to ensure optimal functioning and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Risk Management procedures aligned with National and State regulations and client requirements, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in Industrial Facilities Management or trades experience.
  • Trade qualifications in electrical, mechanical engineering, or plumbing (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • A high level of financial acumen, computer literacy, and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship development skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members.
  • Detailed knowledge of facilities management operations, industry best practices, building codes, and legislative requirements related to facilities management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
