Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all site and supply chain activities at our Warren facility in New South Wales. This key role is responsible for managing safety, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will oversee warehouse and packing operations, ensure a safe working environment, and support commercial relationships through effective site-level customer management. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager - South, this role requires strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Create and maintain a positive safety culture across all activities on-site, including regular reporting associated with safety compliance.
  • Develop and grow a positive team culture within their team, providing proactive management, mentoring, and regular performance feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of operational strategies that maximise site efficiencies while balancing safety and customer service.
  • Proactively manage staff requirements, labour utilisation, and equipment allocation to achieve optimal results.
  • Assist in the development of operational and capital budgets, as well as financial planning and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 5+ employees, including casual seasonal staff.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and senior management.
Requirements:
  • A recognised grain sampling and inspection course.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to improve processes and optimise resources.
  • A Department of Agriculture Accreditation.
  • Grain Storage and Handling or Warehouse operation experience.
  • An adequate understanding of chain of responsibility obligations.
  • Risk identification accreditation.
