**Job description**

Montague is an Australian owned family business that grows, develops and distributes some of the juiciest and most flavoursome apples, stonefruit and other fresh produce throughout Australia.

**We’re now seeking a Forklift Driver to join our friendly DistributionTeam in Narre Warren North.**

**Hours of Work**:
Standard Operations hours are between the hours of 6am and 6pm. We are seeking a Forklift Operator who can work between this spread of hours Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

**Primary Duties**:

- Placing pallets into single depth 7-metre-high racking using reach truck
- General forklift activity in warehouse and coolroom
- Movement of full and empty fruit bins
- Using PDA Scanner
- Order picking
- Movement and inventory control of empty pallets and bins
- Loading/unloading of trucks
- Stacking cartons on pallets

**Other Duties**:

- If general forklift duties have been completed, the Operator may be required to assist with other duties
- Working 50% of workday in coolroom (operates between 1-5 degrees) and 50% of time in ambient warehouse temperature

**Experience Requirements**:

- Forklift licence
- Must have minimum 2 years experience driving a reach truck
- Experience driving Linde electric forklifts, both counterbalance and reach truck preferable. Minimum of 1 year experience.
- Must be reliable and safety focused

**PPE Requirements**:

- PPE will be provided - however all successful applicants must provide and wear their own safety shoes/boots.
- During interview a forklift skill test will be conducted, please dress in the correct PPE. Safety boots, Hi Visibility shirt.

**Transport**:

- Employees need reliable transport to and from work due to the location of our site and limited public transport
