Executive Director of Sports Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our Sports Club in Hong Kong. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Club, ensuring that our members receive an exceptional experience.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Ensure the operational objectives of the Club are met, and report to the General Committee on performance.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the Club's premises, sports facilities, and food and beverage areas to a high standard.
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans for the Club in conjunction with the General Committee and assist in making major business decisions.
- Representation: Represent the Club at the Club Manager's Association in Hong Kong and liaise with other Club managers.
- Compliance: Ensure the Club complies with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and the terms of the Private Recreational Lease (PRL).
- Passion for Sports: A strong passion for sports and preferably a sports athlete background.
- Management Experience: Solid experience in managing sports facilities or Clubs, with general/business management experience and P&L accountability.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to handle multiple stakeholders, including the General Committee, Club members, government officials, sponsorship companies, staff, and others.
- Event Management: Experience in managing big commercial and sports events.
- Asian Experience: Exposure to working in Asia or Hong Kong is an advantage.
