The Role:

This position will report to the Team Leader Assets (Mechanical/Electrical) and undertake and oversee new and existing work, electrical maintenance, installation, diagnostic, and repairs to services on Orange City Council's Water and Sewer electrical and automation installations, including pumps, motors, and starter equipment, PLC, Telemetry, and SCADA networks. You will also design, estimate, and organize construction of electrical installations and other electrical requirements and perform switchboard condition assessments as required.

About You:

  • An electrical trade qualification and a Contractor's Licence.
  • A current Driver's Licence.
  • A current General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • Extensive experience working in the Water and Sewer industry with a thorough understanding of the Water and Sewer Electrical/Mechanical Infrastructure.
  • Industrial electrical experience, including familiarity with motor control, PLC Systems, and process control.
